PA

Anyone else get annoyed when people us the acronym "PA" when they're talking about their personal accounts if they're not a PM? If you're some research analyst obviously it's your personal account, why do you have to specify that to me? Am I to suppose that you are running some secret fund for the firm that I somehow am completely unaware of?

I'm thinking we should do a monthly or weekly post with a list of these threads. Let's brainstorm and come up with a cool name...something like "The Retard's Digest" or "Monthly Moron Monocle". Provide a link to the thread and maybe a one liner for comments.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

haha, this is just getting silly.

You've selected yourself as a sales trader in your 3rd year as an associate on WSO, so all I have to say is wtf? Yea you have to differentiate, there is PA trading and there is your trades for your clients, for market making, for the bank, etc... I go even one step further and differentiate with my pension fund even though technically it's PA trading.... I've bought Tesco without telling others what it means can mean - I've bought tesco for a client, I've bought tesco for the book, I've bought tesco for MYSELF IE: PA #$&(&$#$ TRADING! Bucket of monkey sh.t for you.

Ha with the tumble it had everyone was looking to buy it across the city. I was looking to sell puts on it and didn't have the time to go through the compliance approval process so just let the idea die. It retraced 10% in a day
