Patent focused VC Firm
Alrighty, this should be interesting. First off I'll point out that I posted this in the PE section because there isn't any real VC forum on this site. Here we go:
I have a super day with a well known VC Firm that heavily focuses on the patent industry (one of the largest patent holders in the country) that also functions as a pseudo incubator coming up with its own patents to try and litigate or give to one of their companies to turn into an actual product.
I am interviewing for a market research analyst position and am somewhat at a loss for what I should be reviewing in preparation. I know that my job will essentially be matching patents to technologies so they can be applied but what kind of questions might be asked of me and what kind of assessments i can expect?
The role and company in general seems very unique, I have wanted to get in with this company for some time now and really need to find a way to shine. Suggestions?
