PE to tech
I have an offer to start at a MM PE fund with a strong track record, but am interested in transitioning to the tech industry and the PE firm does not make technology investments. Should I be worried about not being at firm that focuses on technology (either technology-focused PE or a VC firm) - and is it worth exploring these opportunities at the risk of burning bridges? How could I successfully leverage this experience 2 years down the road?
