Phone call to a PE MD in a few days
Cold-emailed an alumnus who is currently an MD at a PE firm. He replied and we set up a schedule for a talk over phone. It is important for me to make a good first impression because a potential summer internship at his firm is literally the best thing I could wish at the moment.
I'm a math major with 3.8 GPA. Interned at a small IB for sophomore summer. My desired path after college is straightforward and traditional: 2-y BB ---> buy-side.
Any piece of advice is welcome and appreciated. Thanks in advance.
