physical commodity trading in Miami

Which commodity trading majors (glencore/cargill/trafigura/etc..) have the largest/most prestigious desks in the Miami area?

I am aware Stemcor has sizeable operations servicing latin america, and know that Bunge has a small desk that takes most of its orders from geneva...

I have a family member interested in getting into the physical commodity business in the Miami area and I could use connections to land him an internship but would like to know which desks are moving large volumes and making their own decisions as opposed to just being regional agents receiving orders ferom GVA/Stamford...

Cheers

I just joined a physical trading firm as a trainee. Am supposed to spend the next two years rotating between traffic, the coal desk, one of the aggricultural desks and in the business development dpt (basically researching new markets to see wether they are worth entering).

As far as the full names of the firms go, those are the full names!

Sucden and ED&F Man are big sugar players, Bunge is Cargill's main competitor and Stemcor is a large steel trader.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do?
