Why do we still rely on physical signatures?
It is 2016. We are living in an extremely fast-paced society and a world more technologically advanced than ever. Yet, we still have to print out forms, sign them, and scan them back in.
Fun fact:
If you don’t sign a credit card slip for a purchase, for instance, it doesn’t mean you haven’t agreed to pay—you’ve already made that agreement just by handing over your card. - Slate.com
Today, very few transactions actually require handwritten signatures.
Why then, do we still rely on physical signatures?
I can't remember it's name but there is an excellent startup that is addressing this.
