I definitely think so
we can alex...lol its html script to do it ill get you a link for us non quant individuals
Oh ok...yeah I don't know html at all lol...in any case there should be an idiot proof way to do it...
first click input format then click full html then post celtic you are so dumb, a fake score? How can you control this.. you are going to count the number of question to get right and wrong? and then what if you score under what you told them?
img src="url here "/>
what if the source for the picture is a file on my computer, not on the internet?
it still works because every file on your computer has an address you can put the address inbetween there and it SHOULD work.... but a CS major or someone knows more about it can correct me if I'm wrong
too late.
Well I guess my point is that even if it CAN be done, should it be this complicated????? Why not just add an "attach picture" button to the comment box?
you mean like this?
^^^Well yeah, I guess it can be done, but it should be easier to do, imo. My desire for coding starts and ends at VBA in Excel, I'm not going to learn html just to add the occasional picture to WSO...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Nothing new. Pictures can obviously be posted.
^^^My point is can it be made easier for us html noobs?
It's actually pretty simple.
Instructions for complete noob 1. Save pics on desktop 2. Go to tinypic.com and upload pics invididually 3. After pics uploads, copy the text underneath where it says "HTML for websites" (alternatively, copy the text under where it says "Direct link for layouts" and skip to step 2 on the "pro" instructions below) 4. Come to WSO and paste text in a reply box 5. Before clicking post, click "Input format" and click "Full HTML" 6. Click post
You're welcome
Instructions for pro who is just unaware of HTML code 1. Upload your pic to any good host (imageshack/tinypic etc) 2. insert picture url into the html code below, and copy code to the WSO comment/reply box
Thanks!
For. Ev. Er.
Not really. Well, maybe. I'm sure if you do a search on their site they'll have something about it, probably
^^^nice Sandlot reference
I try.
So... one issue I have with excessive posting of images is that we turn into the body building forum discussed earlier today:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showpost.php?p=669585961&postcount=11
Note: NSFW-ish.
Funny as this would be, if it were too rampant then actual professionals would stop visiting the site.
