Please any advice about my situation
I'm a rising junior at semi-target business school. As an international student, landing a job in IB is quite competitive and I always wanted to work in asia, preferably HK or Singapore. After some researching, school such as HKU, HKUST, and NUS have better job placement in Asia than my school. Would it be wise to make a transfer? Also, it seems that these schools do not have direct transfer and I may have to start as a freshman with only some credits being transferred. I'm willing to take these risks and throw my years at my current school away for better job placements. I have 3.7+ gpa but real academic difficulties starts at my Junior year.
Any input from those who know about these schools would be greatly appreciated.
I have friends at NUS, and I'd say your odds at a semi target out of the US would be just as good if not better, especially with a 3.7+ gpa (even if it does drop a bit this semester) for landing IB gigs in HK. Do a search on linkedin but I feel like 50%+ of the guys in HK went to school in the US.
