Politics and Leverage

My question is, for those of you who buy with leverage, do you think it's a bit ironic that many folks in are space claim to be free market capitalist, while our entire industry is basically as big as it is because of banks. Which are really just exist on the scale that the do because of the fed.

No, not ironic. My politics are one way, but you can't fault a guy for seeing where the market is heading and investing similarly. As long as my politics are true to my beliefs then I have no problem playing the game.

I am one of these free market people you speak of, and while long term I see the consolidation of wealth in the hands of fewer and fewer, I still vote for the principle of the free market. However I would have to be stupid not to want to be one of the people with wealth. Milton Freedman has spoken to your "irony" and has said the same. You can't also fault a guy for playing the game to feed himself.
