Post Interview - Next Steps Question

Had an interview last Friday (the 13th) that I feel went remarkably well. My question revolves around what I can do after I have sent my follow-up thank you emails.... I won't hear back until the 31st, which will be 3 weeks from my initial interview - I'm worried that anyone interviewing after me will have a leg up since they'll be more present in the minds of the decision makers. I feel like I may not have outlined my value statement as well as I could have and I'd like to write another quick email stating how perfect the position was and how well I'd fit.

I would be an Analyst II and reporting to an executive and the recruiter didn't want me to write a follow-up email directly to the execs - she preferred that I send it to their assistant to get it passed along but we know how that goes. I actually I have his exact email and would like to email him a second time (the 1st being the thank you for the interview ~8 days ago)...

What do you think? Does this show that I'm truly passionate and hard set on the position and want it badly or is it annoying and shows a lack of patience or understanding for other's time?

THanks
