Pre-MBA placement to business school

I'm interested in learning more about business school placements from various private equity firms (or groups of firms). Obviously I understand that everything is highly situational and depends on the person, but it would be interesting to know at which firms ~90% of people go to Harvard / Stanford, then where everyone goes to those two plus Wharton, Booth, etc.

I can also give specific firm names or something if that's easier. I did a lot of searching but couldn't really find this discussed candidly anywhere. Maybe there's a reason for that...

Most megafunds and "prestigious" upper MMs (GTCR, etc) do very well with H and S. In MM PE it varies significantly and it is dependent on the partners connections to the two schools as well as their willingness to support you and write recs, make calls to admissions officers they are friends with, etc. LinkedIn of old associates plus any board affiliations of partners on the website is a good check - you will notice that there are some firms that get everyone into HBS despite not being large/well known while others are the opposite because the culture is not as supportive.
