Prior BB Intern Career Direction

I am an undergraduate senior at a non-target school on the east coast who interned at a bulge bracket firm as an IBD summer analyst (not receiving an offer) and participated in an on-campus hedge fund internship from January to May. I am posed with an offer to work with one of the top Private Banking groups this summer or work on a presidential campaign. Personally, I would like to work on the campaign and then interview for full-time middle market or boutique firm positions. After having significant experience in banking and markets do I need another summer internship (in Private Banking) or would I be fine simply working on the campaign while networking for fall interviews? Would the private banking internship detract from my IBD story?
