Prof. Users - Views on Investment Blogging?

I was wondering what the views of professionals on this website are with regards to investment blogging? This would primarily involve publishing investment theses on Seekingalpha.

I'm currently a college student and double majoring in Mathematics and Statistics and Computer Science. I thoroughly enjoy conducting market research, developing investment theses and subsequently investing in markets. Does anyone think posting my investment theses online will be beneficial with regards to internship/FT recruitment?
In using the search function to research related threads, there have been some who have advocated against it.

Opinions on whether it is in my best interests to do so? If you are a professional who conducts recruiting, how would you view a college student with this on their resume?

If you enjoy doing these things so much why don't you just do it then? Whether it gives you any benefits or not should be of no concern since you actually enjoy what you're doing.

In past threads, some posters recommended against doing this at all. I think their main argument was that it could close doors, rather than open them - even for college students.

a blog is fine, but I'd also see if value investors club and sumzero have a student membership, that way you'd get your thesis questioned and over time, improve your writing

That's a good idea. I've looked into Sumzero but unfortunately, it seems that it is restricted to buy-side employees only. I will also have a look at VIC and see what their restrictions are.
