Hi could I also get some information about FSR... I know this is an old post but its the only thing I could find about it. I'm in PwC core assurance right now but am looking to switch. Would you know the pay differential between the two groups?
Looks like arguewithatree or anyone else who knows about this group needs to post some info about it.
Interviewed with them for FT a few years ago and one of friends worked there for few months before jumping back into IB. It is a good entry level role, especially if building knowledge with certain valuation of certain assets are your jam....
I have received an offer and would also like to be pm'ed if you could. Thanks i really appreciate it!
I would love info on the group if anyone has it. I have spoken with many people at the firm but am trying to learn more and make sure it is a good fit for me.

so i recently got an offer from PwC-fsr which is essentially a role in structured products...i am personally very keen on a role in ibd and have a summer internship offer for equity research at a MM..i am having a hard time deciding that which would be a better option that could lead me to ibd at a bb....equity research or PwC fsr? please help!
I am an undergrad with business major and a decent gpa...but in this mkt, ibd seems like a far cry........please help me decide btw the two!
i heard fsr works 80 hrs a week and gets paid 55k with no bonus first year lol
It is my understanding that all of that is correct.
any idea about exit opps? would it be better to go for equity research? I actually want ibd and so I am looking at what will give me the best shot at it....
I heard you only work 4 days a week during the summer so that isn't that bad.
ratrace- when did you interview for the job? Also- where would the equity research position be?
i interviewed last week for PwC and the research position is at Stifel Nicolaus....so they are kinda strong in that area i think. but my aim is IBD...i want to see which would lead it there more quickly..
the hours aren't that bad

Does anyone have any info on the PwC FSR Group? I have searched the forums but nothing of substance came up. Are super days technical, fit, or both? Thanks everyone!
I would also like to hear some input on this. Interview is next week!
There are like 5000 threads asking for info on this, but none of them have any solid info. Has literally no one on WSO worked for PwC FSR? I'm curious as to what this group does as well.
pm me
