Is it possible to get into banking or consulting from economics at Queens. I know Queens business school is highly recruited but are economics students as recruited. Can somebody from Queens or who has finished up queens comment?
Thanks!

Yes, Queen's econ students have gotten banking jobs. The info sessions and OCR applications are generally open to all students on campus. You might not get as many interviews, but if you impress in the ones you do, there's no reason why you can't secure a job.

Okay, a simple answer to these questions is:
"People from far lower ranked schools than yours have managed to get a BB position"
So don't stress, improve your overall CV and you're one happy camper :) Remember, it's not just marks or the name of the university on your resume, it's a combination of everything. I didn't go to a top school, but I started my own company when I was in college (something different than other candidates). So try doing something "different" and even if you major in "Underwater Basket Weaving", you can land a job in BB.
