Question - Interested in IB and Wall Street
I posted before in the Real Estate forum, but as far as my interest in Real Estate goes, I'm also interested in IB. However, I'm wondering if I may have a problem.
I see people around here using all of these Wall-Street terms, and I have absolutely no idea what they mean. I'm only 16, so I'm wondering whether this is an issue that I don't know for example, what exactly an ETF is, or an umbrella fund, etc.
Is this something I should be studying right now? Or is this something that is taught in college?
I'm interested in IB and Wall Street in general, not only because of the money in it, but because I consider myself a dedicated person, and I like to work. but I fear that the fact that I don't know most of the terms people use here is bad, even at my age.
Dont worry you can alway use google to figure it out. There is also a list of finance vocabularies on this forum. Its a good thing your already thinking about your future.
Great you are already considering your potential career. I know some banks have programs for high school students for summers.
