RANK: Stifel, FT Partners, Piper Jaffray, Petsky Prunier, HL FAS, PJSC, Mizuho, TAP Advisors, GLC Advisors, Oppenheimer

Which would you accept a full-time offer from and why? Can anyone rank these or help me go about thinking about them? I think it's obvious that PJSC is first, but what about the rest?

Goal is to do PE after two years. Thank you for any insight.

HL FAS is not investment banking, so if that's what you want to do I would rule that one out immediately. You would mainly be doing fairness opinions and Big 4 accounting advisory type work (e.g. purchase price allocation).

Stifel, Piper and Oppenheimer are the only banks you listed with decent brands.. but it obviously varies based industry group. I wouldn't do banking type hours for any of the other ones you listed. Petsky Prunier is a small boutique based in OC I believe.. probably not the greatest exit opportunities. Haven't heard of any of the other ones to be honest, I'm guessing they're random boutiques. Trust me when I say banking is not worth it for a no-name boutique.

I would accept offers from either Stifel or Piper, as these are both respectable brands. I would consider Oppenheimer as well (I don't think they've been doing too well recently).
