RBC Capital Markets Investment Analyst Position (Real Estate / LIHTC)

RBC Capital Markets currently has an opening for this position and I'm considering applying. I'm strongly interested in landing a position at a REPE (real estate private equity) shop and contemplating if this position would enhance my chances as I haven't had experience in real estate investing thus far (worked in fixed income sales and trading, traded mortgages, and currently in 1st year of IB). If you have insights please provide them. The job posting is on LinkedIN. Also, if you have any intel on the compensation for a role like this please let me know as well. Thanks.
