RE M&A, Equity/Debt Raising
Post/MAA now Cousins/Parkway. I want to learn more about corporate level trx in RE. Any books/textbooks/white papers? I can trade some PE RE models, white papers and textbooks in return.

Also, curious to hear outlook on M/A and fundraising for 2017 and 2018.
2015 M/A activity was 2x activity in 2014. I don't think 2016 will reach 2015 levels but I'm sure it will be decent. I'm aware that MA activity outside of RE is down ~20% since last year, so I want to know what 2017 and 2018 look like.
To clarify do you mean volume and transaction number of individual assets that have traded or do you mean RE companies bought and acquired? If the former, M&A would not be the right term it would be like calling the car brake a deceleratrix we know what you mean but you didn't use the right lingo.
Corporate level transactions = mergers, issuing long term debt, raising equity through shares or whatever the means may be. Not entirely sure how individual properties came into the discussion...
How do you all feel about corporate transactions going forward? Debt raising I'm sure will take a hit, and I've seen a good amount of REITs lock in solid rates this past year. How about equity raises? M&A activity?
