Related Experience
Hey guys,
This past summer I interned at a private wealth management firm, working with the CIO on the firm's investment research. The firm concentrated mainly on etf investing so that they got the diversification they ideally wanted rather easily, and as a result the fundamental analysis we did concentrated mainly on the sector as a whole. On top of that, we used technical research to further analyze the positions and decide how to enter/manage our positions.
Now my goal is to enter Equity Research but technical analysis is usually not well received by most and I did not end up doing much single firm fundamental analysis.
How can I better explain my summer experience to make it more in line with what banks would be looking for?
