Removing Headers/Footers in Word Oh-F*cking-Seven
Ok, so I made a cover page in Word 2007. This, of course, created an unwanted header + footer for the rest of the document. I did what seemed reasonable: went to the 2nd page, inserted a Next Page break at the top, double-clicked into the 2nd page header, de-selected Link to Previous, clicked Remove Header. A blank header remained (f*ck!) -- btw, Different First Page is enabled the whole time.
I ditched this Document, went to start a new one, and now blank Headers are on every page, and they won't remove. Anyone have any ideas?
Find another document that replicates the formatting you are looking for and copy and paste the body of the document you are working on into it. I hate the 07 apps.
I don't have another document in mind, and finding one would be a long and unnecessary task.
I just need to know how to remove a header, regardless of the page. I mean, I started a fresh blank document, and a blank header is there as if it were a default setting. I can't find where that setting would have been made, and it won't let me delete the blank header.
You double click header-->go to "Design"-->check "Different First Page"
Already did that, it was mentioned in the OP. Thanks, though. If you have any other ideas, bring 'em on.
hey, what does OP stand for...seriously I don't know :(
nvm, i googled it :( lol
