Require advice for career direction - Seeking REIT Financial Analyst
I'm a senior coming out of a top 10 Real Estate undergraduate program in Florida that has a heavy concentration on cash flow analysis and financial modeling. I have a 2.9 GPA, have studied abroad learning business law and have owned two different businesses while in college (Collectively having grossed $40,000+). I will graduate in May with a Bachelors of Science in Real Estate and also in Business Management.
I have a large and strong network of Alumni to tap within the real estate industry in my state. The problem i'm having is I don't have proper direction for my future.
I want to work as a Financial Analyst, preferably for a REIT. I don't see many Entry-Level positions for this though. Almost every Analyst position requires experience first. What would be the best way to gain access to this field given my background?
