Resume for SA at Elites. (Transfer UG)

Please help me look over my resume. I am trying to apply to any boutique with a known name - HLHZ, Oppenheimer, Macquarie etc but many more..

Will the fact that I transferred hurt me? I am transferring January but SA recruiting starts before that so I am thinking of sending this resume in.

What are my chances for an interview? Evercore and Lazard? or are those out of the question

I've actually seen a few people say that for transfers, you don't have to include your original institution. Can anybody tell me if this is the case? And I laughed at the UCLV, haha.

If you don't list your original institution, you're misrepresenting yourself. Straight from my school's career services office.

I have never heard anything useful from anyone at my school's career services office, and I am at a target that every BB recruits heavily at. I also know of many transfer students who left out community college on their resumes and did just fine in recruiting. In fact, almost all transfer students I know did not put community college on their resumes.

I can't figure out if you're a full or semi-troll.

I'm in a generous mood so I'll assume that was a lame attempt at protecting your privacy with the UCLV and "Morgan Freeman Alfred" shit.

Your GPA isn't spectacular to say the least; especially assuming we're talking about a 2nd/3rd tier school and a BBA program. Even if you were already at U.Mich LSA you'd have trouble with that GPA and a boutique I assume is fairly small. Houlihan might be a possibility but there are alot of extraneous variables in that equation. The others are pretty serious stretches (Macquarie not so much because prestige but their own issues). Why not return to "Morgan Freeman Alfred" or wherever the fuck you were?

Not going to comment on any of the content or on your chances because I can't decipher any of the replacement words. For example, is "UCLV" supposed to be LA or fucking Merced, the difference is crucial. Also, is that made up firm really in SF? is it a no-name shop or a mid-market? etc. These are also materials pieces of info.

The manner in which you uploaded your info will serve as a detriment to the quality of advice you will receive. If you don't take this seriously, why the fuck should we?

Anyway, the one constructive thing I will comment on is that the formatting is awful, even independently of the annoying information substitutes. Why the fuck is everything in CAPS? If you insist on using CAPS, why aren't you at least utilizing the small caps feature? Why are there no italics anywhere? Why is your heading left-aligned? Why is your Bachelor degree on the bottom of the right column, while your major is in the middle of the left? Why is there a fucking space on the second line of your coursework?

I think you believe you modified the M&I format in some tasteful fashion, but I can assure you it looks like shit. Go back and reformat it to look like the original template. If you think these formatting things are unimportant, you're going to be absolutely cock-slapped by the reality of what bankers actually do at the shops you listed.

Appreciate it man. Thanks for realizing that I wasn't trying to hate on you, even if I did sound a little angry, I just think that's the reality of the situation. I'll be glad to go into greater detail if you have a standard blacked-out information version.
