The basic failing of this resume is A. the section on your education is a tad-confusing B. the whole wording of what you did is... bothersome to say the least. C. "Breaking into Finance with excel" Excuse me? That honestly makes little to no sense -- it usually leaves a taste of hysterical, ribald, laughter to anyone who might otherwise have read it.
Thanks G.M. Trevelyan. Could you further explain argument A? Why is my education section confusing? Is it the format or how I went from architecture to finance?
Oh yes I remember reviewing your previous CV a few days ago.
Glad to see you've made the right changes, it looks much better than the previous one.
Some sentences are in first person narrative so that needs correcting, it's best not to use "I", "My" etc. (3rd bullet point of voluntary advisor section)
In some sentences you write numbers out as as words and other times you use the numeral. So that needs correcting.
You've also got different spelling for "Led" (I remember this was an issue in the last one too), the spelling used in the third bullet point of the publisher work is incorrect.
Your tense for that publisher work experience is inconsistent with the CV. It's in present tense when it should be past as you're speaking of things you've already done/achieved on the job.
That's all I can see for now. Visually it does look quite crammed if I'm honest, especially the skills & interests section. Maybe removing the black lines will make it easier on the eye. An alternative is to just have the one black line just after the name/address section.
I agree with the user above, the financial (and business) things don't make sense. It doesn't specify what they actually are, degree modules, online courses, certificates, training workshops, what? They're just random names of something.
Hope this helps, overall it has been massively improved since the last one so keep at it and I'm sure you'll have an ace CV soon enough.
