~20%
I know one Manager at my current employer who moved from another Big 4 with a 20% hike with no change of position. In that light, isn't 20% a bit low considering a move from Senior to Manager?
I assumed same level move (basically changing the logo). Not sure how promotion would work (theoretically should be 40%-50%, but don't see anyone do that). They will probably tell you that we are moving you up faster, should be happy with that. To maximize raise, get promoted in current firm first, then jump.
I do not disagree. At the same time, I'm a bit pissed on being denied a promotion after being promised one. That's why I started exploring outside opportunities. I will leave only if the offer is really good. Hence, the original question: what is a really good offer considering my current base and overall experience? 40%-50% is a toughie...I was thinking more around 33%, say $170k base. Is that a possibility?
Hey dude good luck in this process,
I can't really offer too much insight here. (Though I am curious why you are asking this instead of just going and getting the offer) I am looking into big four though. Where do you think the most opportunity is?
