Is anyone moving to NYC by July 1st and looking for a roommate?
I know this is slightly out of topic for the 'ibanking' discussion but more people visit here than any other section of the site and I think craigslist is kinda sketch.
I'm from a non-target (TCU, TX) and not many people make it up to NY for their first jobs - so I don't know anyone from school to room with. I'm used to living with 3 guys. We all get along with each other, no problems. I'd like to have the same type of friendship with a NY roommate. My ideal roommate would be someone who is outgoing, down-to-earth, chill and gets along with everyone. Someone who likes to have a good time on the weekends but is dedicated to being a professional at work.
Send me a PM if your searching for a roommate too..
I'm planning on moving in by July 1st (possibly mid-June) but I could move in as early as mid-June.
I'm planning on visiting at the end of May to find a place and would like to apartment search with roommate.
I want to live in Manhattan, considering UES and UWS and anything below.
Will consider Astoria/LIC
I like to keep a clean place.
It's important for me to have a roommate who is quiet once one of us decides to go to sleep. I'd do the same.
Want a 2 bedroom. No divider wall.
Prefer 2 bathrooms but will settle for 1.
Looking to spend 2k/month max. More in the 1500/month range
I'll be working at JPM.
I was in a fraternity in college.
Finance and Accounting dual major.
I'm 22/m, straight.
I like to work out, jog, get drinks, speculate stocks, learn more about Technical analysis, watch movies, play xbox.
I don't smoke and wouldn't want a roommate who smokes indoors.
Feel free to post replies with tips for finding a roommate.
Thanks.
