Second Major?
I know that majors don't matter all that much if you are knowledgeable. With that said, however, considering I am majoring in Finance what second major would help build a more useful skill set (It probably differs depending on what job a person wants to pursue after wards but please explain in what ways). Econ? Accounting? Something outside of business?
Thanks
Or, as a clarification, what finance positions would each major help the most and how?
If anything major in finance as your second major. Accounting really helps with understanding financial statements and if you can't land a FT gig you can always fall back on accounting.
I would add a technical degree fi you're interested in trading. CS / Math minor perhaps.
Econ's not bad either. Especially if you get into econometrics and the real statistical stuff. You can do a lot with an economics degree
