Second Round Interview Tip for Incoming College Freshman
Hey all,
I'm an incoming freshman at Harvard who will major in econ and dual study finance at MIT Sloan School of Management. I've been in contact with a PE firm in my hometown and spoke with the HR rep via a phone interview who told me that she liked my resume and they want to bring me on as a Jr Analyst but that I'd need a second round interview with the hiring manager. The interview is coming up soon and I'm wondering if anyone can give tips on how to prepare for it? What kinds of questions might the hiring manager ask? I have an investopedia/youtube knowledge of private equity and how it works, as well as knowledge of basic accounting, but is it likely that he could ask me how I'd approach a hypothetical situation?
I have a few days to prepare for the interview and would like to do my best. Anything helps.
Thanks
