Senior at non-target, need short-term advice

I'm currently starting my senior year at a non-target (DePaul). The full-time job search for Finance is coming up, and I'm a bit overwhelmed, and worried I won't take the right steps.

Some info about me:
-Currently work at a small research firm (2 others aside from myself) which few employers would know, but given a great deal of responsibility as an intern (writing my own reports), which has helped me learn a very large amount.

-Equity Research is my top career path, followed by IB, or possibly trading.

-Taking the CFA L1 in December.

-~3.5 GPA

-A bit short on extracurricular activities

-Worked 2 jobs throughout my time here at DePaul

-Haven't networked anywhere near as much as I should have.

What steps for the upcoming job search/interview season should I take?
