Should I change apartments?
My landlord hates me and I was wondering if I should change apartments
Heres my story-
I clogged my toilet - but kept shitting in it for the next 6 days because maintaince in my apartment is slow
The toilet in my apartment became way too nasty to use so instead I went to use the toilet in the clubhouse.
The maintance finally came to my apartment and finally cleaned up my toilet and I was in shock at their willingness to clean up a toilet with 6 days of shit in it and to do it without complaint.
This happened a couple more times - and every time they came to clean up my toilet, I was shocked at their ability to clean it up.
Now recruiting season for FT comes along and I clogged my toilet - but this time was worse. I had 4+ interviews per week and forgot I left the shit sitting in my toilet for two weeks. I called maintance - and shortly after my landlord calls me. Normally I wouldn't pick up the phone from a unknown number but I was in recruiting season so I picked it up. She wanted to see me - and when I met her she looked thoroughly pissed off. She said that the maintance team were tired of cleaning up my feces - she could have easily said that they were tired of unclogging my toilet (but she didn't). She was very snappy and made me feel like I was some sort of deranged animal. I did not know what else to say but sorry - and really couldn't help laughing - which was not funny to her.
Now, when I go to my apartment - all of the staff hates me and gives me dirty looks. When I ask for any maintance such as new lightbulbs - keys etc. I get it extremely slowly. I don't know if I'm asking for too much, I pay quite a bit of money for this apartment. My two options now is (1) schmooze the landlord or (2) move out or (3) deal with it. I'm wondering if someone of similar experience can chime in.
Is there a public restroom on the main floor of the building? If so take your massive shits there.
What are you eating that you're clogging the toilets this much? Or are you the kid who uses wayyyy too much toilet paper? Of course the staff didn't complain to you about cleaning up your nasty mess .....but rest assured they hate your friggin' guts.
LOOOOOOL...tough to tell if OP is trolling or just dim.
Not sure if trolling or serious. But for the sake of all involved (especially the poor bastards in maintenance that have to clean weeks worth of shit up after you), I think you should find a new apartment with more robust plumbing, and invest in a plunger. Also, what are you eating? Cement?
You should definitely change something
Change apartments. Never deal with anything.
trolllly
Dude why are you asking a message board if you should change your apartment?
Live you're own life and do whatever the hell you want. Grow a sack if your landlord doesn't like you--you have a lease and you can just email the hell out of them for you to get your things that they promised in the lease.
I would never want to work with someone that couldn't solve this simple of a "problem".
Change apartments.
I laughed out loud for this - good thing I have 4+ monitors to hide it.
