Should I take Undergrad HF Offer?

I interned at a medium to large L/S commodities HF this past summer and received a return offer. I loved pretty much everything about the job and was told I should go seek out other opportunities, but there will be room for me if I like that more than anything else. I've now interviewed with 6 different firms across consulting, PE, Asset Management etc. and I haven't liked any of them as much. I'm very inclined to take the return offer but I'm worried about the risks involved in starting there. I spoke with my boss at the end of the summer and he thought my concerns weren't really things to be worried about, but I was hoping some of you could shed some light on the situation.

1) Would starting at HF pigeon-hole me, or limit opportunities in the future?
2) How would this look if something happened to the fund? Would another fund be willing to hire someone with no other prior experience?
3) Are there things I wouldn't be able to learn in a much more self-directed environment?
4) Any other concerns or things I should think about before I make this decision?

I hate the process of wasting my time going through interviews and applying for positions which I end up not liking as much, but I feel a lot of pressure from family to try to go to a bigger company with more name recognition. Would I be crazy to just accept the offer and be done with it? Part of me feels like I should because I know I really liked it and it would be better to take a gamble on myself now at age 21, but part of me feels like it would be irresponsible.

Thanks for any help, and I'm willing to answer any other questions people have.

I take it you don't have anyone to provide for? I struggle to see how taking HF offer from a fund you really enjoyed is irresponsible in terms with your family. I wouldn't worry what your family are saying unless they have worked in AM or HF and seen stuff like this first hand. Go for it mate

Damn, isn't it more obvious that you should take it. Do what makes you happy and do it at a L/S hedge fund. Point made, job taken. You are the one who is in charge of your life and what you want to do with it.

If the hedge fund crashes, move to another, do an MBA, become a scuba diver.... Plenty of opportunities
