Should I tell an MM I got an offer from about an offer I got from GS? (SA)

Okay guys, so I received a verbal SA offer from a top MM (top in Europe, growing in Asia, which is where I applied for) via e-mail about 3 weeks ago. It was for a position I liked, so I was happy about it. Last week I got an SA offer from GS in a slightly different role but same division. GS has told me what they'll pay me already and will be issuing me the offer letter this week, whereas the other firm has not told me anything concrete with regards to start and end times or compensation yet. Neither are for front office positions.

I actually e-mailed the first firm asking when I would expect to hear more and let slip that the reason I was inquiring was because I had received another offer. Their HR told me I should receive something in 1-3 weeks, but also asked me who I got my other offer from.

As GS is actually fairly flexible on the start and end times of the internship it is actually possible for me to do both (which I am considering doing, as I like the role the first firm is placing me in more), but how should I present this to the MM I got the first offer from?

Should I just go out and tell them I got a competing offer from GS? Can I leverage this to get them to either speed up or even get them to increase my compensation? Or should I be vague and just say that I got an offer from an investment banking firm in the same city for a similar role?

I hear stories about some people getting dinged at MM/Boutique final rounds if they find out you already have an offer from a BB already since they figure you won't take their offer even if they give it to you, but does that also apply if you've already gotten a verbal offer?

Conversely, should I go out and tell them I intend to try to do both internships outright or should I try to leverage this somehow?

Well, I am going with GS. I just figure since GS will let me do my internship earlier in the year, that I do the internship at the MM firm also (back-to-back). I just need a way to leverage this correctly to put me in the best position with both firms.

Isn't the point of doing an internship to get a job? I realize doing both would possibly icnrease your chances of a job offer, but all the work would probably take a heavy toll on you and you may not perform too well at the second internship.

I agree that you sohuld do the GS and then enjoy the rest of your summer.

Okay guys, humor me for a second here. Assuming that I still want to have the first firm extend their offer (I mean I'd like to at least look at it, PLUS once again it's in a business area I'm interested in), what do you think I should tell their HR regarding my GS offer?

Basically, I'm not enrolled into any classes this semester so GS is letting me intern for the winter, then a month or so break, after which I can do the second internship. I think I can handle it, and I want the extra exposure.
