Sidoti ER
I have an interview coming up with them in ER. Does anybody here have experience with them? It seems like an SS ER firm, but it is for an Analyst role, but I am only at Associate level right now.....so not sure what is going on here.

I wouldn't worry about the distinction between analyst / associate too much. The industry has definitely consolidated over the recent years and there's a demand for talent. If you can demonstrate that you have the skill set needed and that you've had plenty of client contact, it could be a way for you to get a promotion to analyst. Of course that's dependent on the specifics of what they're looking for and what kind of associate you are (i.e. 1-2 yrs or 3-5 yrs of exp)

Those reviews are nasty lol
Unless you hate your shop, I'd avoid this place. It's second-hand, but I've heard their product is absolutely nothing special from an Analyst I respect at a solid shop. And from those reviews, it looks like the work environment is pretty toxic.
This place is absolute trash. Just look at some of the names they cover.
I interviewed there before and have spoken to multiple people from there. Some things to note/consider:
Pm me for more specific questions. I can try to answer them to the best of my ability

Has anyone here worked at Sidoti? I’m interested in your experience working there. What was the typical bonus? I’m contemplating joining the firm however have seen some negative reviews. This is my best opportunity to get into equity research and feel that if I wasn’t happy I could leave in a year and at least gain some experience. Any thoughts?
Never heard of it.
Know someone who used to work there, don't know what they thought of it. However they are now at a great buy-side firm (mutual fund) so you can obviously go places from there. If you want to get into ER and this is your best opportunity to do so, you should probably just take it- what else could/would you do?
It's an "okay" place to start out but not a good place to be nurtured / cultivated. They start you as a senior analyst which is unheard of in the industry. It generally takes years to become a senior analyst. They also are limited on resources and more focused on quantity then quality on reports. They rarely make money on sales /trading, only through conferences for small companies that no one on the street particularly cares about. I would take it only if it's the last option.
