Simmons & Company Phone Screen
Just got an invite for a phone screen with Simmons & Company this week - which happens to coincide with my finals. I'm pretty pressed on time and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how I should allocate my time preparing. Would it focus more on basic behavioral questions, basic technicals, or would it be more industry focused (talking about their work in Oil Field Services, etc.)
Really appreciate the WSO community's input on this one.
Fit and basic technicals
.
Thanks for your response jrt336.
OGBanker - this is for a summer analyst position, sorry for not making that clear.

thanks
SA or FT?
FT....
I would expect some behavioral but mostly technical questions since it's FT.
I would glance through this Tudor Pickering midstream primer if you have time:

Also check out their recent transaction history:

Good luck.
If you're really pressed for time, make sure you know the answers to these questions.

Have been looking into the transaction history, thanks for the Tudor Pickering midstream primer - that'll be definitely useful.
The top 5 questions seem likely to be covered in the WSO guides and M&I guides so I'll be reading those as well. Thanks again everyone.

Thanks a million OGBanker - your advice was spot on. Interview was some basic technicals but a lot of it revolved around why I wanted to work at the firm. Feel liked I nailed the interview, hopefully I get invited back for a superday in January.
Time to get on with the rest of my finals, best of luck to everyone else doing recruiting!
