Site Suggestion: Notifications for Quoted Comment

I think there should be some kind of notification (e.g. like Facebook's) where if I get quoted, I get a notification. Perhaps you can put it in the tool bar on top?
It used to be that if I get quoted, I get a PM in my inbox. Since that is no longer the case, I think there should be an alternate method of letting us know.

Can Patrick/Andy look into this?

weird, you should still be getting PMs when you are quoted unless your turned them off under your account settings...? we can't create a new notification system (not wroth the headache) especially when we now give you the option to turn off different types of PMs.

Welp now I feel dumb.

Although I don't remember changing the setting, it's totally possible I did it myself. That's what I get for browsing WSO when drunk and/or really tired. Sorry for wasting your time!
