Some Insights needed related to consulting!

Sorry about posting so many questions but I really appreciate anyone helping me resolve my queries!

Q1. Do we really need an MBA for technology consulting?

Q2. As a strategy consultant or as a management consultant, is it possible that we get to work with technology companies to solve their business problems? If Yes what kind of roles will be those? Will that role fall under management consultant or strategy consultant or something else?

Q3. Does a background in technology company though not related to business side helps in solving those technology related business problems?

Q4. I checked McKinsey website and it seems like they do cater to High Tech companies. So, is it possible for a consultant working in semiconductor technology domain in McKinsey to also work in some other domain say clean tech or healthcare etc?
