Spring Week
Hello everyone,
Please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong forum, I'm relatively new here.
I am currently applying for spring week programmes- in S&T where the choice is given- and I need some advice about my cover letter. I have been told that banks expect you to say why you are applying to that firm in particular. However, I haven't done much research into any particular firms, so I'm not well placed to cover this. I could just go on their website and take stuff from there, but I feel like I'd get found out pretty quickly. I'm also aware that for some banks applications are on a rolling basis, so I wouldn't want to delay sending off my application too much.
Firstly I'm confused as to how I properly find out about the differences between the firms (do I read their annual reports?) and secondly should I start this now or is it more of a priority to get my applications sent off?
If it helps, I am studying mathematics at King's College London.
