S&T 2014 US SA Interviews
Since there is something similar for investment banking, I was wondering if there are updates for S&T summer internship programs through the regular process for the US? Has anyone heard back from anywhere for first round interviews?
Interested as well.
I haven't heard back from any of the BB regarding first rounds. Had a couple prop shop/AM interviews but I would be interested as well
JPM is having a superday on Friday.
Haven't heard anything yet either, including from places with referrals. Think that superday is for accelerated, rpc.
I know someone that received a BB S&T SA offer very recently.
I believe Citi is having there first rounds next week.
Just heard back from BAML regarding first rounds. From what I know, Barclays doesn't start until January.
How about a thread for EU/UK? Can somebody start one or should I do it?
It also may depend on your school and if banks recruit there. I believe some banks have already started OCR at schools and have given some offers whereas other schools don't have OCR until Jan/Feb so if you attend one of thosee schools and applied online, they may be waiting until Jan to notify you of your status.
I know an older kid from my school received an offer from MS NYC around December 5th-ish.
Citi summer analyst recruiting doesn't start at my school till mid-Jan and summer associates are later in Feb.
Had a first round phone interview with BAML this week.
GS, MS and CS have all given multiple offers. IBD, S&T and AM. GS in particular has had a couple of super-days already.
I had a (non-core) superday with JPM on Friday (haven't heard back) and got offered a superday with BAML in I think February.
Has anyone heard back from Wells Fargo? I know they are in the midst of second rounds for IBD, but haven't heard anything for S&T regarding first rounds.
As for CS non-target, have they finished giving out S&T first rounds? My application is still at the "received" status, and I know several others who are the same.
How many of you are from targets? BAML doesn't start till early Feb and Citi is only having superday until late Jan, from what I've heard.
Anyone with updates as of now (or know of anyone with updates)?
GS is doing OCR for the very first time at my nontarget this week
As for the non-target situations I know of...
Wells Fargo is doing their second round of first rounds. Apparently, they had a larger than anticipated pool of applicants so they held off on some until now. From what I know about CS, they are in a similar situation for first rounds. Some heard back in December, and the others will be later this month.
For some of those who were referred for BAML, they will begin setting up interviews this week because so many of their interviewers were on vacation during the planned time frame.
I have been told that BNP and Barclays will begin reviewing and reaching out for interviews in January as well.
Thanks Mongoose. Out of curiosity, how do you hear about this stuff?
I've personally heard from Wells Fargo and BAML.
I have contacts at most places, a good mix of HR and people in the business. I'll keep everyone updated with what I know. About half of the BB banks recruit at my school, so I'm not sure what the non-target situation is for those.
had a BAML first round phone interview on Monday, just wondering if anyone has heard back yet about superday invites/how long it usually takes
From what I know, they want to wrap up interviews this week, and they will start reviewing once everything is done. I'm assuming sometime next week.
Heard back from Citi for final round interviews.
Heard that MS are giving first rounds for NYC at my brothers Canadian campus
I'm at a semi-target and OCR interviews for Barcap, Citi, BAML don't start till later in January/early Feb. GS is still recruiting for Securities Strats with application deadline in late January.
what are you guys doing to prep for s&t interviews?
bump any ideas ^?
I see that Wells has gotten a lot more discussions here - I started a thread earlier but was unable to get a response. Can anybody comment either on that posting or here? Don't want to send this thread off topic too much. Thanks.
