This is a pretty big decision for me, how's UBC BComm (specialize in Finance) compare with Waterloo's BMath (Financial Analysis and Risk Managment) and Western's Ivey? Which one is better to S&T recruiters?
Waterloo does have a Coop Program which is pretty amazing, but UBC's program is better?
Is it feasible for me to get into a top prop trading firms without going to schools in the states? I am also thinking about a Master in Math finance after, how much will that help me?
Thanks

I know several people at prop firms in the states from UWaterloo, so it is possible. They applied on their own though it wasn't from OCR.

Most of this website focuses a lot on McGill Queen's Ivey, but I am wondering how's UBC Sauder compare to them?
ivey

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
No idea about UBC (though I
No idea about UBC (though I vaguely remember seeing one guy at a good PE shop from there before) but for S&T Waterloo could potentially be a better option than Ivey, which is banking-heavy. But that was years ago - situation may have changed since so someone currently at Ivey or any of the other schools should provide more recent info.
The math programs are tough,
The math programs are tough, I don't know much about your background but I would reccomend Ivey unless you don't want to trade equities.
I did not apply to Ivey
I did not apply to Ivey Advanced Entry Opportunity, so I would have to apply after 2nd year if I want to get in. Meanwhile I could take the Western BMOS program (Which is pretty bad) or Waterloo or UBC. Given that there is a slight chance I do not get accepted to Ivey, which one of them should I go to right now.
If your not in AEO,
If your not in AEO, Waterloo.
The coop there is pretty good.
UBC...well, Vancouver is not that big
If you want to do a Sauder vs
If you want to do a Sauder vs Ivey comparison, I'd try looking at the respective placement reports (available online) and see how many kids go into Finance, Consulting, etc.
As well, the average/median salary could mean some things to you too.
Last Question: Would you
Last Question: Would you recommend applying to lower ivies (Cornell) or NYU, even though the tuition is 60K/year, or staying in Canada and go post-grad in the States?
waterloo, get a CS degree,
waterloo, get a CS degree, and then a MS in finance from an american school ... those kids, killing it
