State Street Portfolio Analyst

Hi Guys

I'm hoping someone could inform me abit better for the following role which I have an interview for next week. Please see below for the job description.

My main question is, isn't a portfolio analyst meant to do financial modelling on companies and valuations within excel etc.

This job spec looks to be abit more operations based, i'm currently a performance analyst and wish to stay in analytics, would taking this role be a good step to getting onto equity research analytics?

How does front office portfolio analyst job role differ from this operations based position?

Your advise is much appreciated.
