Structuring Interview Help/Questions
Hi All,
So I was a Summer Analyst within Capital Markets at Citi, didn't get the offer because they thought that I would be a better fit for more technical/quantitative stuff so they are interviewing me next week for Structuring Full Time.
Does anyone have any advice for Structuring interviews or can give me any pointer/inputs on what all Structuring does. I do have a basic idea and have gone through some of the older threads here but they are kind of old so I thought I'd start a new thread. If there is any reading which'll help or specific sources you can point me towards then please do.
Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Do you know which
Do you know which structuring group it is? Aka Mortgages, FX, Rates, Commodities, etc.

Actually, no. At Citi, they
Actually, no. At Citi, they recruit for a business division not a desk, so basically I'll have to spend the first 9 months rotating between 3 different areas of Structuring.
Since I interned at Citi this summer, they aren't even having any first rounds, its simply an assessment centre (I think its called superday in the US) so its going to be technical rather than the HR competency interview.

I worked a little bit with an FX structuring group, so if you expect it to be technical I would brush up on math/statistical based questions.
Sorry I can't give too much advice because the group was specific to FX and mostly options/vol, so for a general interview (without prior experience) I don't think they'd expect you to know all that was going on. Just be able to answer brainteasers/math/stat/prob questions and have a good reason why its a good fit for you.
