Stuck with Due diligence.

Hi guys,
I graduated with a B.Tech in CompSci this June and recently started an internship(9 months) at an Inv Bank in India. Is well known here but not as much around the world.

The manager I am working under solely takes care of due diligence for the companies going public and hence I am stuck with the same work.Although it hasn't been much time, I am pretty sure I won't be able to move to another division and gonna be stuck with this for all of 9 months. In short, I hate doing the work since there is no analytical bent to it.

Also, I'll be applying to MSF/MMS programs for the next fall and not sure if this experience would help me post the degree(profile is good enough to get me in a decent MSF) as far as recruiting is concerned. Long term goal is to get into IB. Since I won't be doing any sort of valuations or making research reports, I doubt if the experience would be helpful at all.

Hence, not sure if I should continue with this or leave it and look for other opportunities.

Any advice you guys have would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
