Suits at all corporate levels
What are your thoughts on all employees wearing full suits; from the risk analyst to the CEO and every one in between. Does this make the company look more put together or does it make them look uptight?

If I was running a bank, I'd push for all the FO people to be business formal every day. Not sure why Wall Street has drifted away from that after the crisis.
Amen, Super formal, Super conservative.
The ultimate idea that sounds good on paper. Suits are for meetings, not sitting at your desk for 20 hours while you work on some financial model.
I think the only people who get a hard on for wearing suits are those who don't actually wear suits. I worked at a bank that was business formal and it fucking sucked. Especially at a junior level.
Business casual (slacks, shirt, blazer) is optimal and just fine unless you are meeting clients.
This is true. You get to wear business casual at your current firm?
We go full suit everyday, but that's because I'm in private banking and you never know when a client meeting might pop up or a client walks through the office.
However, like TheKing pointed out, unless you have meetings or could have meetings all day long, they are pretty pointless. Once everyone clears the office but analysts (6-7ish), tie goes off and sleeves get rolled up.
