Summer Associate Internships for Internationals

Hi,
I am a first year MBA student at BYU MSM and I am interested in a career in investment banking. I come from a commercial banking background from India and am looking for associate internship opportunities at bulge bracket banks that sponsor H1B visas. The biggest challenge I face right now is to get an interview call from these banks.I have already applied to 8 of these banks but in vain. The MBA program at BYU is not a core program for ibanks as only a handful of students are interested in ibanking and as a result the alum network is not exactly flooded with people working at associate or higher positions.
What suggestions do you have for me regarding how to secure an interview with top ibanks?
