Switching careers late, Is there any way to play catch up?
Anyone else switch careers in their late 20s? I graduated as an engineer and now I'm hoping to get into some type of investment gig. I'm not working right now, but studying to (hopefully) pass the CFA Level 1 in December.
Has anyone else been through this before? If so, do you have any tips on what I can do to kind of play catchup? Also, what kind of jobs can I expect? I've been looking around and it seems like companies usually like to hire people right out of college or someone with internship experience.
