Take a leap of faith or grow old and regret

Looking back at your life did you ever take leap of faith or did you just ignore the opportunity and grow to regret it ? This was actually a quote in the movie inception. But the idea is groundbreaking and thus it deserves that we think on it.

Life is dynamic - missing an opportunity can lead to new opportunities that wouldn't have come about otherwise. So of course people should pursue chances when they arise, but if they do miss a few they shouldn't be so worried and close-minded that they blind themselves to new chances.

It's a serious problem, people become so filled obsessed with initial "failures" that they end up blaming others or themselves to such an extent that they guarantee their continued failure. I would say the phenomenon is a big reason for economic sluggishness in developed countries - illusions of prestige and status perpetuated by some trolls on WSO probably exacerbate this.

i was talking to my roommate about this last night, i fully intend to risk everything at a young age if something presents itself. If i didnt, i feel like id have regrets my whole life.
