Technical Problem with BB application - Help
I am trying to fill out an application for a BB program that a few of my contacts suggested I do (before SA recruiting begins). I am trying to fill it out, and it says "Please upload a Word document" for your CV. So I uploaded it as a Word doc, and then hit "Preview" and it looks all fucked up. My one-page resume, is now two pages on their application website. It looks like it changes the margins and stuff, so basically all of my formatting gets all flip flopped when I upload it. Has anyone had this problem, and what should I do?
When i upload it in pdf form, it looks perfectly fine. I dont understand why they want it in a .doc, because usually a pdf keeps formatting. I also dont want to send in the app with a pdf CV when it specifically states "upload in a Word doc." I have tried contacting people involved with this, and the firm directly, but just receive automated machines. Also, the deadline is rapidly approaching and I dont want to get fucked because of this.
Suggestions?
Change margins in Word up to the point they won't get changed on their website. I encountered that before and changing margins in Word helped.
Yeah but if I do that, then my resume no longer fits on one page. My margins are set so that everything fits one page. Once they are made smaller, I think like 5 or 6 lines flow over. So i have no clue what to do. Would it be a bad idea to submit it in pdf form?
