Interview Technicals for non-finance majors
Anyone have any idea what kind of technicals prospective Summer Analysts are expected to know? Specifically for undergrads with no accounting/finance course history? How are final round interviews structured in general?
What are your internships like?
I mean... you're going to get accounting / finance questions either way. Even if you're not an accounting / finance student, they would likewise expect you to know at least the basics, maybe not the tougher ones. Technicals from ibankingfaq.com should give you a good idea.
You da real MVP for that link.

I guess technicals are pretty much universal everywhere unless the bankers want to spring a surprise and actually wants you to use your head a little. Coming from a top target, I highly doubt there are technicals that you would find challenging. Maybe brush up a little on your accounting and you should be good to go.
Thanks for your answer. Can you list some examples of universal technicals I should expect? I honestly have 0 background in finance beyond following the macro trends of the market.
