The Investor-Entrepreneur Divide

From what I know, crossing into an operator/manager role from PE is relatively common.

What about transitioning from investor to entrepreneur, or vice versa? Would time at a startup limit one to VC?

Especially interested with respect to current sophomore at a good school

Also a sophomore that will be going into banking this summer but am interested to learn about how I can prepare myself for operational experience with the goal of eventually starting my own business.

I am a blogging intern at Wall Street Oasis. Feel free to follow me to see my weekly posts.
