What I like is; - Quick wrap on what Asia did (3min max) - Inventory we need to move (2min max) - ER read across 2-3 steps away from biz. reporting (5min) - Value adding comments (5min max pr sector)

15min and all can be done on a conference call.

What I don't need: - Lenghty circle jerking contests between Analysts and Sales trying to outsmart each other - Analysts reading from their slides and jr. analysts reading from press releases - No value adding comments.

CNBC sucks "This financial crisis is worse than a divorce. I've lost all my money, but the wife is still here." - Client after getting blown up

God i wish it was like your version.

"After you work on Wall Street it’s a choice, would you rather work at McDonalds or on the sell-side? I would choose McDonalds over the sell-side.” - David Tepper

Haha. Had probably the worst morning meeting today. Lengthy circle jerking between analysts arguing that news for a certain company had no read across to service providers in that sector. No value adding comments and discussions about which country has the best female hockey team in the Olympics.

Great way to start a week.
